My name is Val Trewartha and I live in Kingsdown. I studied for my Batchelor of Education Degree at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I specialised in batik work and art history.
After teaching art in a secondary school in Dorset I taught in a variety of schools and with different age ranges in East Anglia and Kent. I have always loved natural environments and colour in the landscape. My art work is inspired by these factors.
