After studying fine art at Brighton Art College I spent my career in other fields only starting to paint again about 20 years ago. Design, pattern and colour are my motivation and feature in all my work.
I paint everyday objects from around the home, kitchen and garden and the local countryside and coast. My favoured media is watercolour especially the vibrant colours produced by Daniel Smith. I also use gouache for solid areas and occasionally oil crayons and paint.
