All my life there has been a driving compulsion within me to paint, draw and make things.
After an early career in retail display I attended a three year diploma course at the now Kent Institute of Art and Design studying under top ceramicists such as Colin Pearson and David Leach. I achieved a Diploma with Distinction in Three Dimensional Design (Ceramics).
I set up a Studio in the shadow of Rochester Castle where I made and sold Ceramics (mainly porcelain) until moving my Studio to my home on the beautiful North Downs above West Malling. There I was able to expand and develop my additional loves and interests in painting, drawing, sculpting and other media.
In 2017 I moved to Deal and now have my Studio at The Old Rectory Rooms in the lovely village of Northbourne where the space gives me the freedom to further expand my activities. I am very lucky to also have a Studio in the South West of France.
My most recent work explores reflections and rich tones and effects but I am always looking for the next new challenge in my multi faceted world of Art.
