Carole Hubble RBA

Carole Hubble was born in London and spent her childhood in Yorkshire. She studied at York College of Art and Maidstone College of Art, gaining her Intermediate and National Diploma of Design.

She lived in Greenwich until 2004 when she moved to Deal. Since qualifying Carole has held several part-time teaching posts, including lecturing in design and drawing at Maidstone College of Art for 12 years. Latterly she was a 6th Form Co-ordinator in a school.

In her mid twenties Carole was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists, and has subsequently been made a Senior Member of the Society. For many years she was a member of the Council, and Selection and Hanging Committees. From 1998-2002 she served as Honorary Secretary for the RBA Council. In 2007-2017 she was made a Trustee of the RBA.

Carole is a figurative painter who produces work in oil and acrylic on canvas. She has exhibited regularly at the RBA, and has participated in other mixed exhibitions, plus several one man shows.
