Joy Stephens

Three years ago I moved to Ringwould, close to the white cliffs, but my life has been spent in many different continents. Wherever I am, art is a compulsion, and a means for me to look at the world in a different way. I try to find the hidden meaning in my surroundings, to express the inexpressible. I often don’t succeed, but the learning process is addictive. Watercolour is my main medium; I love its subtle flows of colour, but I also enjoy pastels, lino prints and photography.
