I studied Advertising and Design at Bradford College of Art before moving to London to work in a succession of advertising agencies as an Art Director, creating TV commercials, posters and press ads.
We left London for Deal in 2005, and apart from a break to care for my wife, I have been painting and wood cut printing full time.
Very little tends to happen in these paintings: the old streets, solitary buildings or industrial junk fill the canvas. While some of my prints follow that theme the rest have people as the subject, one has sixty-seven of them.
