Susan Beresford
Susan graduated from Brighton Polytechnic with a BA Hons Degree in Illustration in 1987.
She worked primarily in the fields of Editorial, Design and Advertising, murals, and working as an Artist in Residence in schools.
Strangely since getting divorced and visiting Deal, where she now lives, she is fascinated by abstracts focusing on layering and textures. Her starting point was boat rudders.
Unable to ignore the everchanging sea and sky, she also started to paint panoramas.
These two subject matters are beginning to influence each other, the seascapes are becoming more abstract, and the abstracts are nodding at the seascapes!
She works in acrylic and mixed media.
