Marianne is an artist based in the South East. Her recent work explores colour, line and the relationships between them, with a particular interest in how colour interactions create movement and energy within a composition. Working intuitively, she allows each piece to develop through layering and mark-making, responding to the balance between structure and freedom. Her practice continues to evolve through experimentation and a curiosity for process and materials.
