My work draws inspiration from my travels, the theme of escapism, different cultures, and a sense of contemplation and belonging through a cinematic or theatrical lens.
Influenced by the works of Arthur Rackham and the Impressionist movement, I seek to uncover the new and ‘otherworldly’ or transformative aspects of our world, leading to serenity, contemplation, or tranquillity.
I strive to reveal the beauty and truth within nature, the environment, which is often overlooked in our hectic lives yet fundamental to our existence. Using mixed media, expressive textures, lines, and colours, I create evocative moods and often achieve serendipitous results.
